I recently had a conversation with a fellow entrepreneur and I explained that the moment I stopped waiting for everything to fall in to place is the day that I took control of my future. 

I learned that I wasted time. I wasted a lot of it. Our ducks are never really in a row, the timing may never be perfect, our opportunities may pass by before we ever realized that they were even there. So I changed it. I started to look outside the box for new ways to connect with my followers, my community, my friends. 

And I want the same for you.

What kind of kindness can you bestow today? I plan on buying the person behind me a cup of coffee / leaving a note of encouragement in the checkout lane / putting $5 for a pint of chocolate ice cream in the tampon aisle.

My husband / partner / wife is my absolute biggest fan! Without his/her support I could not be able to rock out being a full-time photographer / building my dream / growing my business. So I think today I will swing by & gift him/her with their favorite bouquet / iced coffee / some delicious caramels.

Another Fourth of July celebration has come and gone. I am over here surrounded by the remnants of this years festivities and thinking back to an amazing day. My favorite part of the day is gathering with friends over some drinks / watching the fireworks display with my kids / celebrating our awesome heritage with the rest of the country.

Self care is such an important part of wellness and this busy life can sometimes make me forget all about me! Luckily I have learned that my favorite way to decompress is to mindlessly color / go for a jog in the fresh air / spend some time on the water / meet up with a friend for a hot drink... I just need to make the time(don’t we all?!). How do you like to unwind?

I admit this might seem a little silly... But with all my amazing newfriends & followers I feel the need to do a little introduction.

I am (name) and I am (list your business/profession). I started this crazy adventure because I have a passion for art / I wanted to be able to stay at home with my kiddos / I fell in love with the product. It has been hard. It has been amazing. And if I could go back, I would do it all over again.

Inspiration is defined as the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something. Personally I find my inspiration from great self-help books / surfing Pinterest for hours / listening to TedTalks on the regular.

Summertime to me means long camping trips / having the honor to photograph weddings / spending the weekends at the beach.

Did you know that among other thing July is Anti-boredom month? I personally rarely get bored because let's be honest - life is busy! But if I ever have time to fill I love to get creative with new artistic approaches/ seek out an adventure / try something new.
