ELISABETH
OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER | SHE/HER
Elisabeth, the creative force behind Oak & Ivy, began her photography journey inspired by the storytelling found in National Geographic. In 2012, she launched her photography business, capturing meaningful moments and authentic stories.
In 2017, Elisabeth founded Oak & Ivy to support small businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs through intentional storytelling, content creation, and digital connection.
After more than 23 years of service, Elisabeth retired from the Ohio Air National Guard in January 2026. During her military career, she served in leadership roles across Financial Management and Public Affairs as a Photojournalist. She earned her degree from the Community College of the Air Force and continues her education in Marketing & Communications at WVU.
Elisabeth deeply values family, meaningful connection, and creating a life rooted in balance and purpose. Her travels and adventures alongside her husband continue to inspire the way she tells stories and connects with people. Driven by a passion for helping others pursue their dreams, Elisabeth’s mission remains simple: to help turn vision into reality through creativity, collaboration, and authentic connection.

ALYSSA
PROJECT MANAGER | SHE/HER
Meet Alyssa, one of our trusted project managers at Oak & Ivy, originating from the charming town of Urbana, Ohio. Alyssa's heart thrives in her role as a devoted parent alongside her husband, finding boundless joy in nurturing her two wonderful children - an irreplaceable priority in her life.
As an accomplished professional, Alyssa graduated from Wright State University with degrees in Management and HR, alongside a minor in Marketing.
Alyssa's creative spirit knows no limits; she delights in various artistic expressions. Moreover, she possesses a passion for empowering women, fostering connections, and uplifting others on their journeys. An avid reader, Alyssa discovers solace and inspiration within the pages of books. Guided by deep faith, her devotion to Jesus illuminates her path.
Alyssa's diverse passions and unwavering dedication render her an indispensable asset to the Oak & Ivy team, where she amplifies her unique talents to bolster our mission.

TAYLOR
LEAD CONTENT DESIGNER | SHE/HER
Taylor plays a key role in supporting our clients and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her love for community and commitment to growth immediately drew us to her. With her experience as a small business owner, she brings a unique set of skills to the table, allowing us to better serve and support our clients. Taylor is also passionate about empowering others to build their dream businesses and thrive, which aligns perfectly with our mission at Oak & Ivy.
When she’s not working, Taylor is a dedicated mom to two energetic boys who keep her on her toes! With a professional background in management and banking, she’s always ready to offer valuable insights to our team. Taylor enjoys family hikes with her cat, Fish, and her dog, Bear Bear, adding a touch of joy to her busy days. In her free time, you’ll find Taylor fueling her passion for physical fitness through obstacle course races, mud runs, and her weekly HIGH Fitness classes. If she’s taking a break, she loves diving into a psychological thriller or watching reality TV with her husband after the kids are in bed.

COURTNEY
REEL QUEEN | SHE/HER
Courtney plays an essential role on our social media team, helping brands show up with authenticity and heart. Her creativity shines through in every project she touches... from editing reels to curating content that feels real and relatable. With degrees in Business Management and Human Resources from Wright State University, Courtney brings a thoughtful balance of strategy and creativity to her work.
Born and raised in Springfield, she’s been part of her parents’ local business since they first opened their storefront, giving her a deep appreciation for community and small business growth.
Outside of work, Courtney believes in balance and enjoys life’s simple joys. She loves traveling, reading all types of books, and spending time with her husband, Jaden, their three dogs—Ash, Rora, and Knala—and their close-knit family. She’s also a proud aunt to two sweet nieces and a soon-to-arrive nephew, a title she cherishes most of all.
MINDY
CONTENT ADMINISTRATOR | SHE/HER
Mindy’s role at Oak & Ivy focuses on supporting projects behind the scenes — helping bring together the final details, and keeping timelines on track. As an Air Force veteran with a background in IT, she brings a strong foundation of organization, adaptability, and attention to detail into her role as a Digital Content Curator. Having been raised in Springfield, Ohio from a young age, Mindy has a deep appreciation for the growing local community and the small businesses that make it so special.
Outside of Oak & Ivy, Mindy stays busy raising her three young children while helping manage life around her husband’s home improvement business and her kids’ sports schedules. Her creativity shines through her love for interior design and gardening - in her home, there’s always a new project in the works. As a family, they prioritize spending time outdoors, traveling whenever possible and making memories with friends and family. In the evenings, you’ll often find Mindy with her dogs at her side unwinding with a puzzle, a good book, or a game show.

RACHEL
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT | SHE/HER
Rachel brings a calming, grounded energy to the Oak & Ivy team and truly believes in living a life rooted in balance, purpose, and connection. As one of Elisabeth’s Administrative Assistants, she helps keep website updates, content scheduling, and client projects moving smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Rachel is a proud boy mom who loves spending time with her family and embracing life’s simple moments. She is also a certified yoga instructor and values wellness, mindfulness, and creating space to reset and recharge. Whether she’s practicing yoga, spending time in nature, traveling, or enjoying a really good cup of coffee, Rachel brings warmth and intentionality into everything she does.
DUGG
HEAD OF HUMAN HAPPINESS | HE/HIM
Meet Dugg, our lovable Saint Bernard! Born and raised in the heart of Ohio, this big guy is living the country life with his human family of five. A true Ohioan at heart, he loves long drives, walks through the countryside, and being by his humans' side, no matter what they’re up to.
When he’s not on a walk, you’ll find him napping or enjoying a delicious snack. His favorite things in life are a cozy nap and a good meal, followed closely by spreading some fluffy love (and fur) wherever he goes and did we mention napping? With a heart as big as his paws, Dugg loves everyone he meets and is always ready to share some slobbery affection.
He’s a soft, fluffy ball of joy who might leave a little fur behind, but that’s just his way of making sure you take a little piece of him with you.
